After graduating from Gustavus in 1961 I spent the next six years in Minnesota-teaching/coaching in HS, computer programming, and going to school.
Headed west in 1967 to the University of Idaho in Moscow, ID. Moved to paradise (LaGrande, OR.) in 1969 to teach at Eastern Oregon University.
In 1980 I started a computer software business which I am still doing part time. Our home was a do-it-yourself project. It is an A-frame house on 32 mainly timbered acres at the base of Mt. Emily, where we still live today.
I became a bionic man (hip replacement) a couple years ago so had to give up handball. Hobbies now include fishing, gardening,reading,and maintaining the acreage.
Our children all stayed in the west. Three are in Portland, OR, including our grandson and one is in Nampa, ID.
Jerry has been putting pressure on me to get this done. As he explained it, “ he was told to get his in last; sort of the bodhisattva idea put to use For ChiHi ’57.”
