Miscellaneous Information:

Our first four years of married life were spent in the Air Force; we lived in Texas, Japan and the DC area.

We then moved to Des Moines where our twin daughters were born and I continued work as a court reporter. In 1974 we moved to Cedar Rapids where a friend and I opened a free-lance court reporting firm, Kool & Nygren, Inc.

I have also become a Certified Legal Video Specialist. Because of a hearing loss – and my interest in technology – I am now doing Plan B which is strictly videography work for clients. Nancy is retired from teaching and our daughters are both teachers.

Both Nancy and I are involved with BSF (Bible Study Fellowship) and are active in our United Methodist church. I handle the videotaping and editing of services which are broadcast weekly on two local channels. I am a Shriner (Color Guard) and enjoy woodworking.

In 1999 six of us, including three of my cousins, enjoyed a trip to Sweden. A highlight was touring the home in Varmland that my grandfather built and where my father was raised.

I am looking forward to seeing and visiting with my classmates and hope that many will return for this great event.
