Yvonne (Retherford) Mitchell, Carlson. Yvonne was born in Grantsburg, Wisconsin, on May 6, 1938 and she died August 5, 2000, following a five month illness with cancer. She lived with her sister Barbara and husband in Fridley at the time. Yvonne didn't have an easy life, her second husband was killed while walking to meet Vonnie at her job by a drunken driver after three months of marriage. She lost everything in the Grand Forks flood. Her loving Savior helped her throughout her life. She is servived by two children, Robin & Jay and seven grandchildren.
